Muskegon gets their second goal scored by #26 Adam Smyth at the 16:36 mark of the first period.  Smyth's goal was unassisted.

#23 Tom Kotsopoulos payed his first game as a Jackals tonight.

Tonight was Blade's 7th birthday party and during intermission he was presented with a cake and them played a game of broomball with some other mascots and representatives from Word of Life.

The Word of Life team scored two goals on the Mascots and after the whistle blew Blade took matters (and the ball) into his own hands and raced down the ice toward the opposing goal.

Blade puts it in!  Hey it's his birthday...he can do whatever he wants. lol

Degagne makes a save and follows the rebound as it goes straight up into the air.

#44 Dale Lupul leaps into the air to glove the puck down.

Lupul was able to knock the rebound down.

The puck is still bouncing.

Lupul is able to fire the puck away from Rustyn Dolyny and out of danger.

#33 Shawn Degagne does the splits to make a save.

The Jackals get on the board with a goal from Erik Anderson with assists from Scott Drevitch and Brent Cullaton at the 8:09 mark of the second.  It was Anderson's first goal of the season and Cullaton's first point.

Degagne was unbeatable in the second period allowing the Jackals to get back into the game.

#22 Brent Cullaton and #27 Dave Van Drunen battle along the far boards.

Scott Drevitch carries the puck up the ice.

The Jackals tie the game at 12:16 of the second period on a goal by Scott Wray.  Assisting on Wray's goal were Brent Cullaton and Scott Drevitch.  At this point in the game you could feel all the momentum on the Jackals side and you had the sense that they would soon take the lead but it never happened.
