Jackals To Hold Hockey Sale
Elmira, NY – The Elmira Jackals announced today that they are holding a
big sale of hockey equipment coming up in mid-September.
On Saturday, September 16th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Jackals will be
holding an exciting hockey sale at the First Arena, including all types
of equipment and other game worn memorabilia. The sale will take place
on the First Arena Main Rink, just two weeks before the ice is laid in
for the Jackals upcoming Training Camp in early October. Admission is
Free and fans can get in through the Main Street Entrance, or through
the Rec Rink entrance on Gray Street.
Come join Head Coach Kris Waltze and some of the Jackals players who
will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans during the sale. Plus,
make sure to bring a camera to get your picture with the Jackals mascot
Blade, who will also be in attendance.
With the 2006-2007 hockey season fast approaching, the Jackals need to
make room for some new hockey equipment they have coming in. Elmira’s
pro hockey franchise is selling their 2005-06 Game Worn (Blue) Road
Jerseys, along with lots of other Game Worn equipment, including:
sticks, gloves, hockey bags, shoulder pads, helmets, shin pads, hockey
pants, and more. The Jackals will also have some children’s equipment up
for sale. Also included in the sale will be Jackals merchandise,
including: Jackals replica hockey jerseys, Jackals Track Suits, souvenir
items and much more.
“This is an opportunity for fans to get a piece of game-worn Jackals
memorabilia,” said General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. “There are some
great Jackals items that can either be used in recreational hockey or
they can make neat decorations for the avid hockey fan. Come down and
meet some of our new players and help us make room for some of the new
hockey gear we are buy for the team this season.”
The Elmira Jackals are gearing up for their seventh season of operations
in the United Hockey League and the Twin Tiers. Season tickets for the
2006-2007 UHL season are on sale now at the First Arena Box Office. For
